Mind & Body Psychology are excited to offer neuro-affirming ADHD and/or Autism assessments for individuals aged 11+yrs.

Our ADHD and Autism assessments meet the Australian Clinical Practice assessment guidelines and can be used for educational and work accommodations, as well as taken to paediatricians or psychiatrists for further consideration (including consideration of medication).

We offer the below Assessments:

  • ADHD Assessment

  • ASD Assessment

  • ADHD & ASD Assessment 

All our assessments involve 2 parts (Part A & Part B):

Part A Involves:

·       Intake assessment interview session/s (50-60 minutes)

Your psychologist will discuss with you if you need more than 1 intake assessment session (e.g., combined ADHD and Autism assessments may require more intake sessions).

*If you have private health insurance, you may be eligible for rebates for Part A.

 

Part B Includes:

·       Obtaining information from other sources (e.g., childhood school report cards) and significant others (parents, siblings, partner, friend); this will be discussed with you

·       Questionnaires (A range of psychological measures to assess Autism and/or ADHD symptoms, executive functions, and more)

·       Scoring of the various measures; collating and interpreting all available information against DSM5 diagnostic criteria set,

·       Written Report with recommendations

·       Feedback Session (30-40 minutes)

*For Part B of all Assessments, we offer a Payment Plan option to pay in 2 instalments.

 

Fees:

ADHD Assessment:

Part A = $225 (GST Inclusive) per Intake session - (Payment due after appointment)

Part B = $1545 (GST Inclusive) - (Option to pay via 2 Instalments)

ASD Assessment:

Part A = $225 (GST Inclusive) per Intake session - (Payment due after appointment)

Part B = $2000 (GST Inclusive) - (Option to pay via 2 Instalments)

 

ADHD & ASD Assessment:

Part A = $225 (GST Inclusive) per Intake session - (Payment due after appointment)

Part B = $2, 425 (GST Inclusive) - (Option to pay via 2 Instalments)

Please note:

·       Part A or Part B (No part) cannot be claimed under Medicare. Only Part A may be eligible for Private Health rebates.

·       We waive all of our extra appointments surcharges for these assessments (e.g., there are no extra charges for new clients or out of business hours sessions)

·       Once you have booked your Intake Interview, we will send you an Intake Form where you can notify if you would like a Payment Plan for Part B.

·       There is no guarantee that an ADHD and/or Autism assessment will result in diagnosis.

·       Our assessments are unsuitable for those wishing to identify intellectual abilities (e.g., giftedness, intellectual disabilities) or learning differences (e.g., reading and mathematics disorders).
