Accessibility INFORMATION

How to Get There:

  • By Bus: There are many bus stops within close walking/wheeling distance.

  • By Car: There is on-site parking and street parking on Windsor Rd and Victoria St.

  • By Foot/Mobility Device: there is 1 disabled parking spot in our carpark.

Our Location:

  • We are in the same building as Australia Post, QML Pathology, and Windsor Road Pharmacy.

  • We are opposite Red Hill Doctors. We are also across the road from Align Kitchens, Red Hill Day & Night Pharmacy, No No's Lebanese, and Banh Mi 7 days.

Access into our Building and Front Door is by: 

  • Building access is by: via 113cm wide ramp on Windsor Rd, or via 2 steps from the on-site carpark, or via 3 steps from Windsor Rd.

  • Our front door: 89cm wide.

Disabled Parking:

  • There is one designated disabled carparking space in our carpark, on the right as you drive into the driveway.

Building and Toilet Access:

  • Our clients access the communal toilets for the builing from inside our premises; the door to the bathroom is 85cm wide. The two toilet doors are 80cm wide.

  • The bathroom is quite small. Unfortunately, there is no disabled toilet and insufficient space to manouvre a wheelchair or wheeled-walker. We are aware that Red Hill Doctors, across the road, has several disabled toilets. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and will continue to consider how we can improve accessibility. 

Sensory / social considerations: 

  • We have three waiting options: outside on our entry verandah, inside in our waiting room, or a low sensory room/change table room beside the toilets. 

  • Please alert reception to your arrival (if it is during reception hours) and choose the waiting area that is most comfortable for you.

  • We will have a scent diffuser and soft music playing in the waiting room. If you are sensitive to smells or sounds, please let us know before your appointment or when you arrive, and where possible, we will adjust or turn off these devices, or offer low sensory alternative spaces for you.

We want you to feel comfortable, so please do not hesitate to let us know how we can help achieve that for you!
